Job Summary

The Integration Developer has a vital role within our IT team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between various systems and applications. Plays a key role in streamlining processes, optimizing data exchange, and ensuring efficient connectivity across different platforms. With expertise in integration methodologies, programming languages, and API development, it will contribute to the seamless flow of data and information within our organization, driving efficiency and enhancing business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Write clean, scalable code using ColdFusion, react, as well as other frameworks.
Create integrations between systems using various methods such as APIs, webhooks, data exports, or other automated processes.
Monitor system performance, logs, and health to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Optimally configure API Integrations to meet client business requirements including set-up of triggers & actions, researching API system requirements for API calls and object references.
Specify and periodically review network documentation, capacity planning, and potential upgrades.
Provide on-going support for internal SPI communications: VOIP and Email.
Provide field support for all locations, some travel including weekends may be required.
Interact with our Customer Service Team and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
Monitor for security breaches and perform routine audits to ensure compliance with established security protocols.
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance and to provide network performance statistics and reports.
Work with MySQL resources.
Provide input for technical documentation and user guide.
Develop front-end applications for nationwide enterprise customers.
Integrate with various open-source libraries and microservices.
Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.
Improve existing software.
Monitor automation scripts to ensure they execute as scheduled and apply fixes when necessary.
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

Proven experience as web application developer using a variety of technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), and various front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and others.
Familiarity with ColdFusion (can train), MySQL, and design/architectural patterns.
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing.
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
Experience with data and file formats such as XML/JSON/PDF/CSV.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server installation and administration.
Familiarity with Firewalls, VPN, Network Security, Group Policies, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, and Network Monitoring.
Familiarity with wireless internet, Wi-Fi, VOIP and related technologies, configuring & programming Cisco routers and switches, IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP, WANs, and LANs.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written.
Effectively use code source control (Git) and project/ticket tracking software.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to self-start and prioritize workload.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Extreme attention to detail and organization skills.
Integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Customer service-oriented, collaborative nature, a strong work ethic.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver on tight deadlines.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Application Development, or related Computer Science field required.
A minimum of two years of professional Web and Application Development experience preferred.
Certifications in relevant areas such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
CSS: 1 year required.
APIs: 1 year preferred.
JavaScript: 1 year preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
